AESC Builds Community

Energizing the Holiday Spirit: AESC Gives Back Across the U.S.

This holiday season, AESC US teams joined together to make a meaningful impact in their communities, bringing joy and much-needed support to local families within the communities we operate in. Across our three US plant facilities—Smyrna, TN; Bowling Green, KY; and Florence, SC—employees rallied to embody the spirit of giving and care, contributing to local organizations and helping those in need.

In total, AESC employees supported dozens of families and countless members of the community through thoughtful donations of toys, clothing, educational gifts, and essential items. By working together, our teams not only met immediate needs but also reinforced AESC’s commitment to making a positive difference wherever we operate.

Smyrna, TN: Adopting Families Through the Boys and Girls Club

At our Smyrna facility, the team participated in the “Adopt a Family” program through the Boys and Girls Club. This effort, led by Saki Hicks, has been a beloved tradition since 2016. Volunteers shopped for gifts, wrapped them, and delivered the packages, ensuring 27 families experienced a brighter holiday season.

A particularly touching moment came from one AESC employee who shared that she had been a recipient of a similar program as a child. Now, she enthusiastically joined the donation efforts, giving back to the community in the same way that once helped her family.

Bowling Green, KY: Partnering with Toys for Tots and the Fire Department

In Bowling Green, our employees partnered with Toys for Tots and the Bowling Green City Fire Department to support the broader community. Contributions included bikes, toys, and educational gifts, ensuring that children who might otherwise go without could enjoy the magic of the holidays.

The effort, driven by 15 dedicated employees, highlighted the importance of community connection. Their participation resonated strongly with the team, providing an opportunity to be part of something bigger and support families in need.

Florence, SC: Making Wishes Come True with the Salvation Army

At our Florence facility, employees worked with the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program, adopting 10 children and fulfilling both their essential and wish list needs. Gifts included warm coats, clothing, toys, and gift cards.

Notably, when Captain Tim Scott, a Salvation Army officer serving the Pee Dee Region of South Carolina, came to pick up the donations, he expressed his gratitude and a desire to partner with AESC in future community initiatives. Employees felt a deep sense of fulfillment knowing their efforts directly impacted children and strengthened AESC’s ties with the Florence community.

AESC’s Commitment to Giving Back

These efforts exemplify AESC’s core values: fostering teamwork, supporting communities, and creating a positive impact. By collectively focusing on giving back, our employees showed the power of small acts of kindness when multiplied across teams.

As we look to the future, AESC remains committed to these initiatives, with plans already in motion to expand community support efforts, including potential year-round partnerships with national organizations.

Thank you to all our employees who participated in these projects, embodying the spirit of generosity, and helping to create brighter holidays for families across the United States. Together, we are building stronger communities and truly bringing the energy for positive change.
